What is CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a model in which supporters invest in a farm and receive "shares" of produce, meat and eggs in return. This allows farmers to start each season in good financial shape without debt, and deepens the relationship between farmer and consumer.

What does it cost?
Your cost depends on the share you choose (see below). All shares are payable in two installments, one in January and one in August - of course, you're welcome to pay the full cost up front, if you want!

What are my options?
Vegetable Share - Full share or Half Share
Your veggie share includes a weekly pickup of 8-10 items (or 5-6 items for a half share). A full share should amply feed a couple who cooks often, a family who cooks a few nights a week, or a single vegetarian. A large, veggie-loving family might want more than a full share, a couple who only cooks sometimes might want a half share. Both types will be picked up weekly, the difference will be the number of items. We will do our best to vary the items week to week - expect standards like kale, salad greens, tomatoes, peppers, green beans and zucchini interspersed with new favorites like kohlrabi, pac choi and edamame.

Egg Share - Full share or Half Share
Simple - a full or half dozen of our truly free-range eggs every week.

Meat Share -
Large share - 1/2 pig, plus some chicken
Small share - 1/4 pig, plus less chicken
Smallest share - some pig, some chicken
